Andrea Nix

My art career all started with a drawing of a pair of sneakers I created in study hall class as a freshman in High School.

I started drawing from a very young age. One day in high school I decided to draw the sneakers I was wearing. I was amazed at how much they looked like real sneakers. That was when I knew I was going to make a career using my art skills. I even used these drawing as part of my portfolio submission into art school later in life.

Over the years, I have been a graphic designer, desktop publisher, design manager and a design director. I have worked for many publishers designing and managing print and digital product with people in locations around the world. I have helped to realign business infrastructures, hired and laid off employees, and was considered one of the fastest and most accurate desktop publishers of my time.

When I started having kids, I made the change in my career to teach kids computer skills as a means to stay on my kids schedule. Little did I know how much I would love mentoring young minds and sharing what I know about design, production and various computer apps.

These days, in my spare time, I like to paint and teach myself new apps as a way to stay current in the design industry. Specifically, web design and development apps. I never stop learning and trying to inspire others to be their personal best. I hope this website inspires someone in the world to be the best version of themselves they can be.
